Online Technician Training
Complete technician training is now available online. Therma-Scan is now proud to offer customers our experienced onsite technician training, online. Customers simply login and access our comprehensive study guide which walks users through the history of thermology, the inception of infrared imaging technology, infrared mammography, the state of breast cancer today, proper imaging procedure and technique and the science of image analysis. Sections of the study guide describing the proper technique of image acquisition are assisted with interactive tools that allow the user to navigate infrared imaging software and learn how to properly focus a camera, position patients and more.
The training is tailored to customers using the Eclipse infrared imaging system by Bright which currently supports users with Flir A320, A40, and S60 camera models paired with Bright's own thermographic clinical imaging software. Once users have completed their review of the study guide course content they must complete a test which is also taken online and graded automatically. Upon completion of the test an email is sent to notify results. Users can take the test as many times as they wish until passing.
